Celebrating Newstead’s Transport History

Breakfast Creek Rd & Maud St, Newstead QLD
The design of my artwork is based off an imagined 1960s Newstead landscape with trams. Newstead has a rich industrial and transport history, first with horse-drawn trams and eventually electric trams that were phased out in the 1960s. I’m hoping to give viewers a dose of colour with a waning sunset and an insight into Newstead’s past involving its transport history and tram museum (Breakfast Creek tram features in my artwork).
