Dragon Imagine

Coonan St & Westminster St, Indooroopilly QLD
The artwork has a twist on some local characteristics and public transport – with a dragon theme! The train turns into a flying dragon delivering DragonLink passengers. The city cat is a boat with a dragon figure head. The bats flying from Indooroopilly Island and over Mt Cootha were used as inspiration for the dragon silhouettes. There is also a theme of positivity with the train dragon being happy with its thoughts focused on the present moment and not worried about being late. The meditating person is emitting love. It encourages onlookers to imagine being in this world, or just to imagine generally. Its inspired by an Albert Einstein quote “Imagination is more important than knowledge”.
