Save our Bees

Cordelia St & Peel St, South Brisbane QLD
A bee themed design with a bright multicoloured honeycomb pattern, dripping honey covered in bees with the phrase “save our bees”. Bees are important to our eco system and I wanted to make a bright colourful design that helps people think about these little guys! To help with making the repeating pattern, handmade stencils were used to draw the pattern on the box with pencil, then all parts hand painted.

You must be a resident of Brisbane ie. living within the Brisbane City Council area.
You must not be an employee of Brisbane City Council.
You must not have painted more than two traffic signal boxes in a four year period and not in consecutive years.
