A bit about Helen & Gemma

This creative mother-daughter team not only took out the 2020 overall winner category at the Artforce Brisbane Awards ceremony with their artwork ‘Grand Designs of Woolloongabba‘, but they’ve also just completed a new artwork ‘Streams and Dreams’ at Humbug Reach in East Brisbane. Helen said, “We love pattern and colour and the opportunity to bring visual interest and happiness to the Brisbane streetscape. All of the Artforce boxes connect to local stories and that helps community members appreciate our wonderful neighbourhoods! We also love the interaction that we have with passers-by while painting a box.”
